The job
Bathrooms have their own rules because of water. Fittings must have the right IP rating for the zone they sit in, and the extractor fan needs to clear steam without sounding like a jet engine.
How we do it
- Fit IP-rated downlights to suit each zone
- Wire a backlit mirror
- Install a quiet extractor fan with an overrun timer
- Check bonding and RCD protection
