The job
Older terraced houses often still have rubber or early PVC cabling, too few sockets and a fuse box under the stairs. A rewire replaces the lot, room by room, and plans power and lighting around how the family actually uses the house.
How we do it
- Plan sockets, lighting and data room by room
- Chase the walls and run new cables before plastering
- Fit a new consumer unit with RCBO protection
- Second fix after decorating: sockets, switches and lights
- Test every circuit and hand over the paperwork
